CINS 2021 South Asian Health Conference Goes Virtual Over Zoom
Virtual South Asian Health Conference is shifting discourse and finding solutions for BC’s South Asian population’s health post COVID-19
Surrey, BC – Underlying chronic illness, culturally ineffective health system gaps, lack of data/analysis, and other factors were leading causes for the dramatic spike in the number of COVID-19 cases for British Columbia’s South Asian population. As we move towards a new normal, there is an opportunity to increase health equity for South Asians in British Columbia. The 2021 Canada India Network Society Conference will hold a virtual South Asian health conference on June 18-20, 2021, and will focus on these topics and more.
